OMonday May 14th the Digital Transformation Department took part in the seminar “Urban security. Policies and instruments of the European Union “, organized by the Department of European Development and Financing Projects, in Campidoglio.

The purpose of the morning, which saw the participation of the Ministry of the Interior, the Local Police of Roma Capitale and of the Councilor for the Person, School and Community Solidarity, was the presentation of the planned projects at the community level in the service of active policies for the objective and perceived security based on the use of digital technologies, on prevention and social inclusion and on a greater involvement of the citizenship and the employees of the Administration. The projects presented by Roma Capitale, both funded under the Horizon 2020 program, were CS-AWARE (development of a framework for the development of organizational awareness on IT security issues) and City Risks (use of an app and a network of sensors to combat petty crime phenomena, such as the theft of bicycles), followed respectively by the Digital Transformation Department and the Department of Environmental Protection in collaboration with the Local Police.
